The art on the cards is equally functional in terms of giving you the information you need quickly, but don’t do much else, unfortunately. Trader tiles are given to each player at the start of the game, and are placed adjacent to any tile. There are two limitations to an average move: How much currency is required for the tile needed, and the amount of wall on the tile available.

Currency cards and Building tiles are then added to any spaces in the Currency market or the Building market.The remaining currency cards are distributed into five piles, and two special scoring cards are inserted into the second and fourth piles. The player with the fewest currency cards in their hand takes the first turn; if tied, the tied player with the lower total value of currency cards in their hand takes the first turn. Players who have the most building tiles of each kind in their Alhambra at the right time - in the scoring rounds - are awarded points, the exact amount depending on the type of building. Lastly, you could remove a tile from your Alhambra to your limited reserve area, or place a tile from your reserve back into your Alhambra, into a more desirable position (this will be due to to the walls preventing a tile from being played).

More common building types are worth more points, and building types are worth more points in later scoring rounds.
