PUMA have always been a front runner when pushing the boundaries to design trendy yet functional golf shoes and the GS-Fast, an update on their much talked about RS-G Golf Shoes, certainly continues that trend. These are a statement shoe for those players wanting to complete a streetwear look on the course. Admittedly these shoes will not be everyone's cup of tea and we did get several comments about them from playing partners and other members of the golf course when we first tested them out. As exceptionally good-looking, comfortable golf ‘sneakers’ these should be a go-to shoe for any day, not just when playing golf. I would wear these to the pub or work with no qualms; I found them that comfortable and stylish. Many players choose to have one pair for winter and another, lighter pair for summer to keep them fresh and suit different requirements.I tested the shoes across various terrain and weather conditions over 3 rounds, on 2 links courses and a parkland to really get a feel for them, in some very differing weather conditions. The first day was extremely dry/windy and the second day was exceptionally wet, so they really got put through their paces! One of the highlights of the GS-Fast was how comfortable they were. I often get sore feet on the golf course when I wear shoes that don’t offer enough support around the heel but the GS-Fast were excellent in that regard. The shoe’s chunky sole provides most of the comfort, delivering a level of cushioning that you’ll only find in some of the most comfortable golf shoes on the market.

That means these shoes are better used as a summer golf shoe but still performed very well in slightly soft autumnal conditions with their grippy outsole providing solid traction on the turf.
