About this deal

Regimental Doctrine – Death From Above: Enemy models slain in the shooting phase count as two for the purposes of morale. Focused Bombardment – 1CP: Makes a Master of Ordnance’s once-per-game barrage heavy 6 instead of heavy d6. This is actually pretty OK, and increases the draw to include one of these guys if you’re bringing a bunch of Basilisks. B Baneblade • Banehammer • Banesword • Doomhammer • Hellhammer • Shadowsword • Stormblade • Stormhammer • Stormlord • Stormsword • Capitol Imperialis • Leviathan The Wyvern is a self-propelled artillery unit that is based on the Chimera chassis, much like the Hellhound and Leman Russ. It is primarily used by the Astra Militarum as a support unit in battle. The Wyvern’s main weapon is the Quad Stormshard Mortar, which is a rapid-firing artillery piece that can fire up to 4 times a turn. Each shot has a blast radius that can hit multiple models in a unit, making it particularly effective against hordes of infantry. Precision Drop – 1CP: Lets a squad grav-chute out of a plane 5″ from the enemy rather than 9″, and ignore the chance of dying. This is super powerful, and if any version of “Scions in planes” works, this will be a part of it. A

Unlike the standard Taurox, the Taurox Prime is capable of being outfitted with a wide variety of weapons systems, and is designed to be highly versatile. These vehicles are the ideal transport for the elite forces of the Militarum Tempestus, and are armed with the lightweight Taurox Battle Cannon mounted upon a turret atop the vehicle and a set of twin-linked Hot-Shot Volley Guns mounted on the sides of the vehicle's hull. The Taurox Battle Cannon can be replaced with a Taurox Gatling Cannon and the hull-mounted weapons replaced with twin-linked Autocannons. The Taurox Prime can have its turret removed and a Taurox Missile Launcher system equipped or just have its turret and weapon removed to lessen the vehicle's weight. The vehicle can also be equipped with a pintle-mounted Storm Bolter or Heavy Stubber, either on top or mounted on its turret. The Taurox Prime can also make use of bull bars on the front to protect from debris and can be equipped with many other Imperial upgrades and attachments such as a searchlight, relic plating, a Dozer Blade, a recovery gear, Smoke Launchers, Extra Armour Plating, fire barrels, a Hunter-Killer Missile Launcher, Camouflage Netting, and an Augur array.Relic – Relic of Lost Cadia: Once per battle you can activate this at the start of the turn, and re-roll hits and wounds of 1 for CADIAN units within 12″ of the bearer. Against CHAOS, they instead re-roll all failed hits and wounds. Stratagem – Tactical Misdirection – 1CP: When one of your units destroys an enemy unit, your opponent gets -1 to hit when shooting against anything else if your unit is their closest target. The Taurox Prime's weapon load-out is equally versatile -- whether blasting enemy infantry apart with hails of missiles or Taurox Gatling Cannon fire, or bringing down tanks and fortifications with their lightweight Battle Cannons, these vehicles are the ideal transport for the elite forces of the Militarum Tempestus.

Iron Talon - The Iron Talon of the 55th Kappic Eagles regiment took a fearsome toll upon the forces of the Crimson Slaughter Chaos Space Marines during fighting on the Ybrekian Ice Worlds. During battle, the Iron Talon held the Frostjaw Crevasse bridge for over a solar hour until reinforcements could arrive, forcing the enemy to retreat. personally i feel like the taurox prime becomes too expensive for what it actually brings, especially once you start upgrading them. in a militarum tempestus army, how well does it compete with the valkyrie as prefered vehicle? Thank God for the Troops slot and its svelte 3 unit choices. Of these, Infantry Squads and Tempestus Scions are the most relevant ones. Once upon a time, Conscript blobs were feared throughout the meta, thanks to their ability to stand around and die but take a long time about it, but a succession of nerfs (including the stupid and reactionary errata to Commissars which, with the hindsight afforded by history, turned out to be unjustified) made them more or less irrelevant. First, let's get this out of the way, the regular Taurox is okay for its points. It's not fast, which is a major liability for an 11/10/10 transport. If you already have chimeras from previous editions, don't upgrade unless you're running Militarum Tempestus specifically. For treadheads around the world, this is the big one: Guard Heavy Support. The slot is actually thinner than you’d expect, with just 7 choices in the base codex, but then again you can take 9 Leman Russes all differently equipped so there’s still a dizzying number of options.Unmerciful - The crew of the Unmerciful, a Taurox Prime of the 22nd Thetoid Gryphonnes, posses the highest kill ratio of any other vehicle in the ranks of its regiment. Its accuracy has seen Ork mobs, Termagant swarms, and Chaos Cultist hordes alike scythed down en masse.

The Death Korps of Krieg don’t have as many rules as the other regiments but have their own Doctrine in the Imperial Armour Compendium that’s worth pointing out here. You’re never taking this trait unless your force to for playing Death Korps, which is great news because it’s really terrible. The Forge World Units can large Vostroyan: Repel the Enemy! – You can fire your weapons into units that are within Engagement Range, regardless of their type, but you have to shoot at a unit within Engagement Range. Shoots well above its weight. At BS 4 and with several very effective weapon loadouts, it can easily hit harder than a chimera, Devilfish or Raider.

Regimental Doctrine – Grim Demeanor: INFANTRY units halve the number of models that flee, rounding up. VEHICLES count as having double their current number of wounds remaining for profile purposes. Chimera ( Chimerax • Chimedon • Chimerro) • Hellhound • Bane Wolf • Devil Dog • Taurox • Taurox Prime • Tauros • Sentinel • Salamander Scout • Pegasus AAV • Salamander Command • Pegasus Command Officio Prefectus Command Tank – 2CP: Choose a Leman Russ and give it a 6″ bubble of granting Ld9 to ASTRA MILITARUM units. Cute and flavourful, but not in any way good. D
